The people we are taking a closer look at in our special exhibition “CELTEN LAND HESSEN – A new era begins” shaped the Iron Age in Germany. They founded large city-like settlements long before the Middle Ages. They paid with coins and invented objects that we still use today. They made weapons and tools from iron, a new metal at the time.

Using the methods of modern archeology, we want to find out more about the exciting lives of these people who go by the name Celts throughout history.
