In 2015, extensive field research took place at Glauberg for the first time in many years as part of the 4th Summer Academy of Hesse ARCHEOLOGY. In addition to the prehistoric and, of course, the Iron Age "Celtic" settlement, the excavation work focussed primarily on the medieval use of the Glauberg plateau. This preliminary report summarises the findings of the first of three excavation campaigns.
