Using simple plastic means, the sculptor was able to reproduce the characteristic body structure and movement of a pigeon. The bird appears to be walking on the ground and is looking intently to the side with its head slightly tilted.

Ram's head

The ram is depicted with short, curly fur and small horns that are close to the head. As the traces on the stone on the back show, it probably belonged to a larger relief.

Statuette of a bull

The muscular bull has hit his tail with the small tassel on the right side of his back. The stone under the belly was probably not removed by the sculptor for greater stability.

Glauberg and its immediate surroundings have always been a popular settlement area. A settlement at the foot of Glauberg is documented as early as the time of the first Neolithic farmers, the Bandkeramic culture (approx. 5500 - 4900 BC).

Panoramic view from the prince's grave

Enjoy a panoramic view of the landscape from the burial mound of the Celtic prince from Glauberg. Taken at a time when the wooden posts of the so-called calendar building were being replaced, this 360° panorama represents a snapshot that will not be seen again for a long time.
